Does my employer match charitable donations?
Many companies today will match your charitable contribution to U.S. Figure Skating, the Memorial Fund and Friends of Figure Skating.
More and more, companies are directing their charitable support through their employee giving by matching donations. It's a great way to effectively double - and sometimes even triple - your charitable impact to the organizations and programs you feel passionate about supporting.
If your company does not match funds, ask your company if it will start. You would be surprised how many companies add this program annually as an employee benefit program.
Check the list below to see if your company has a matching gift program. If you don't see your company listed, ask your Human Resources Department. If your company does have a matching gift program, familiarize yourself with the guidelines for the program so that you can complete and submit any required paperwork.
Another way to support U.S. Figure Skating is through payroll giving, if your company offers this option. We are happy to supply our Tax Identification Number if your company requires it for payroll giving.
Additionally, if your company participates in the United Way, you may designate your support through your United Way to U.S. Figure Skating. This will help meet your company's United Way participation goal while at the same time supporting U.S. Figure Skating.
